It’s hard to win the battle when the laws regarding weed in Australia are dishonest and unfair with some exceptions in the ACT. In the ACT personal possession is fine to a degree and you can at the very least grow 2 plants per person and 4 per household.
This needs to happen all around Australia in a larger scale much like what is happening to cannabis in the US. Changes need to happen otherwise people will continue to suffer. Even those that depend on cannabis due to their illness are affected.
